Jan's surprise retirement party/birthday celebration!

On Thursday - 6/24 Jan's work thru her a surprise Retirement Party/Birthday Party! We were so excited to see her at work and meet her coworkers! Quinn just looooved flirting with all of the women!! Afterwards our whole family went out to eat at the Olive Garden.

Father's Day 2010

We had a great father's day on Sunday 6/20/10!

I started the day by bringing Quinn into our bedroom to wake Steve up with a homemade card and gift certificate for a message at Spa Envy! Next was a yummy breakfast and then off to church. We stopped by the Home Depot on our way home to pick up some things for yard work. We even got two topsy turvy containers for both tomatoes and peppers (speaking of which...I gotta remember to water those tonight!) Lunch was sizzling steaks on the grill with baked potatoes and we topped off the night with softball!

Steve -- I appreciate all you do for your son and I! We both love you SO much...here's to many great father's days to come!!

Mom came to visit! ...and get some planting done!

My mom stopped by earlier this month to bring

some plants over that she had in her garden

{and she even planted them in my garden for me!}

Thanks for beautifying our yard and hanging out with us!

Kinnickinnic State Park

For Father's Day we went to Kinnickinnic on Sat. 6/19 {the day before Father's day actually}

to spend some time together as a family... Steve stayed home to get "chores" done around the house which included: staining the deck - mowing the lawn and changing the oil! We missed him but tomorrow is his' first Father's Day and Quinn and I have a fun day planned for him!
