Aunt Mandy and Quinn match!

How cute are they in their matching yellow?!
How cute am I writing this caption in yellow too!!

A boy and his dog

Quinn really loves Tucker, I am not exaggerating! Truth be told, Tuck isn't exactly "sold"
on Quinn YET! ...I know with time the feeling and affection will be mutual :)
I'll be honest, I am not a fan of Tucker licking Q's face, but we had him a few feet away from
Tuck, and he actually "army crawled/scooted" over all by himself!
These two will have many great memories in the future!

Quinn's first solid food!

Quinn has been ready for solid foods for a few weeks now and
I've held off introducing him to his' first solid food until today, 7/08/10.
Whenever he sees anyone eat, he "pretend chews" and it makes me feel
like I'm teasing him whenever I eat infront of him...so I finally realized my
baby is ready to eat food! I diluted the rice cereal so much however; that it looked like
thick milk more than real food! ...he just looooved it! He would grab the spoon
and he has such a tight grip that it would be hard to pull it away!
All of his' practice chewing has paid off...the kid can eat!! I'm excited to
try out some of the recipes in the "cooking for baby" cookbook I got from
Laurie. I have all the supplied I need to make homemade baby food... should
be fun! {and messy!}

We had a great Fourth of July at Jan and Stan's cabin!
Quinn did amazing on the drive up {it's a 4 1/2 hour drive}.
He slept for all but the last 45 min. and all four of us {Tuck too!} enjoyed
our weekend up North! Thanks for having us up Jan and Stan!
