More than two years later

Do you know the tradition about wedding cakes?

...the one that tells you to put the top tier of your wedding cake in the freezer, with that anticipation that at your one year anniversary you take it out and enjoy it with your spouse?

Well... Steve and I forgot all about our beautiful cake, and finally... after almost two and a half years after our wedding day, we took it out of the freezer to take a bite {and find out if it was even good!}

It was NOT! 

But I thought it was still so beautiful that I just had to snap a picture of it before it went into the trash can!
